Christmas in a new sound dress: The Trio Étoiles returns to the Mirror Hall after their acclaimed debut in 2022 – with a contemplative program that lets classical music shimmer in surprising colors. For Meersburg, the three musicians bring together a selection of atmospheric treasures: Tchaikovsky, Bruch, Adolphe Blanc, and Borodin unfold a warm, chamber music palette between lyrical breath and festive brilliance – far from the usual, yet entirely in the tradition of Christmas. The changing combinations of soprano, alto, and baritone saxophones open up an extraordinary spectrum: velvety, silvery, radiant – always rooted in the classical sound ideal.
The Trio Étoiles regularly performs in Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg, and has been guests at "Summerwinds" Münsterland, the Hohenlohe Cultural Summer, and the "Against the Current" festival, among others. Charmingly led by Sarah Lilian Kober, who accompanies the evening with small anecdotes and interesting facts, familiar melodies become a fine, festive moment: intimate, colorful, close.
