On Christmas, the area around Alexanderplatz in Berlin is always festive. On December 26th, the duo Daniel Schmahl (trumpet, flugelhorn, and corno da caccia) and internationally acclaimed soprano Anna Gütter invite you to a solemn and contemplative concert at St. Marienkirche. Together with the multiple award-winning Ivan-Bogdan Reincke on the organ, they present a diverse repertoire from the Baroque to modern times. Whether in festive interplay with organ and trumpet, as a duo or solo, the lovingly selected pieces are dedicated to the festive character of Christmas and inspire reflection in the here and now. A special highlight is the "Nutcracker Suite" by Pyotr I. Tchaikovsky, performed by Ivan-Bogdan Reincke on the organ.
