Description
For audiences aged 14 and over A wonderful play about the question of what really matters in life - after William Shakespeare. The shipwrecked Viola lands on the coast of Illyria and disguises herself as a man for protection. As Cesario, she enters the service of Duke Orsino and delivers his love declarations to Countess Olivia. However, the Countess immediately falls in love with Viola*Cesario, whose*her heart, however, beats for Orsino. And when Viola's presumed-missing twin brother Sebastian also appears, the (love) confusion is perfect. Who am I and if so, why? In WASIHRWOLLT, nothing is as it seems and no one is what they pretend to be. Shakespeare's comedy of errors breaks down gender stereotypes in an artistic and playful way and raises questions about (gender) identity, sexuality, and the meaning of life. "Manuel Moser modernizes the material without dissolving it and ignites in us the desire to discover Shakespeare's universe. He shows us something that only exists in the theater, nowhere else."
