With the special exhibition "PICASSO. HANDMADE," the Museum Cavazzene dedicates a special chapter in the work of Pablo Picasso. About 60 selected drawings and ceramics are displayed, showcasing Picasso's immediate, craft-oriented approach to art. The exhibition opens the newly redesigned special exhibition rooms of the museum and marks a highlight in the exhibition year. The focus is on two areas of work that accompanied Picasso over decades: free, spontaneous drawing and experimental work with clay. Although they are formally different, both media are connected by the line as a central means of expression. Whether on paper or ceramics – Picasso's handwriting remains always present and gives the works a special immediacy. The exhibition invites visitors to rediscover Picasso beyond his famous paintings.
