Description
Max Hansen was one of the great entertainment stars of the Weimar Republic as a singer, cabaret artist, and actor. He was, among other things, the first waiter Leopold in "Weißen Rössl" and co-founder of KaDeKo (Cabaret of Comedians) in Berlin. After sharp-tongued chansons, he initially emigrated to Vienna, and in 1938 finally to Copenhagen, the homeland of his mother. Like many other exiled artists, Max Hansen can no longer replicate his former successes after the cultural break of the Nazi era. In a cheerful and profound program, Maximilian Nowka, together with Andreas Peschel at the piano, under the direction of Annette Klare, pays tribute to this great artist. Let yourself be transported to the time of the golden 20s, with songs like: "Einmal möcht ich sie küssen gnädige Frau", "Meine liebe Lola", "Ach Luise" or "Zuschaun kann i net". RBB Kulturradio "Maximilian Nowka is great! You will be thrilled!" BR Klassik "... you feel transported to the 1930s. So much wit, so much presence on stage, so much passion in the voice, you should not miss Maximilian Nowka!" Thüringer Allgemeine: "With lots of wit, charm, and self-irony, Nowka has achieved a wonderful balancing act between cabaret, schlager, and operetta."
