Start the new year with us and immerse yourself in the ‹Walzerwahnsinn› by Matthias Lincke. The current composition makes the waltz experientially new in a surprising way: familiar sounds and traditional elements, reminiscent of the once intoxicating and rebellious side of this dance, combine with fresh ideas and unexpected musical twists. Thus, an old Swiss musical tradition is brought into the present and begins to unfold anew on the dance floor. After the concert and a New Year's aperitif, the dance floor is yours: the five free spirits of string music bring not only waltzes but also polka, schottisch, and mazurka to life and invite you to dance joyfully into the new year. Participants: Matthias Lincke (violin, composition), Andrea Kirchhofer (violin), Elias Menzi (Appenzeller hammered dulcimer), Hiasl (double bass), and Barbara Gisler (cello). Program: Hall opening 5:30 PM, concert begins 6:00 PM, Prosecco and Apéro riche 7:00 PM, music for dancing 8:00 PM, event ends 9:00 PM. The ticket price includes the Apéro riche, the OSTWIND ticket, as well as the shuttle to Klanghaus and back. We look forward to seeing you dressed festively for the occasion.

General Information

The event takes place at Klangwelt Toggenburg in Wildhaus and offers a festive start to the new year. After a concert with traditional and modern sounds, guests can actively participate on the dance floor.
