The Finnish crossover legend WALTARI is coming to the Brno club Fléda on October 4th, bringing their new album Nations' Neurosis – a powerful and energetic recording full of emotions, experiments, and the musical freedom for which the band is famous. You can expect an intense show that blends metal, rock, industrial, and alternative, supported by a new lineup and the unyielding creativity of the charismatic Kärtsy Hatakka. WALTARI once again proves that they are among the most original European bands – and their concert in Brno will be one of the most significant club events of the autumn. WALTARI has never been a band that follows rules. With the new album Nations' Neurosis, they reaffirm that their characteristic mix of musical freedom, bold experiments, and uncompromising expression is more relevant today than ever. At the heart of the WALTARI musical world stands Kärtsy Hatakka – the brain of the band and its main driving force. He contributed to the new album not only as a singer and bassist but also as a programmer, keyboardist, and percussionist. During the album's creation, he went through a challenging personal period – among other things, he lost his mother while witnessing a world increasingly descending into chaos and conflict. The frustration and strong emotions of this time are felt in every track of Nations' Neurosis, making it one of the most intense and thought-provoking albums in WALTARI's history. The recording was made in three Finnish studios, with production by Aleksanteri Kuosa along with the band WALTARI (except for two of the fifteen tracks). With the new lineup comes new energy. Guitarists Eero Nykänen and Jakke Setälä, along with drummer Ville Vehviläinen, have left a significant mark on the album. The combination of their talent and WALTARI's typical musical philosophy elevates the band to the next level. The result is a recording that is both raw and sophisticated, aggressive yet still melodic – exactly what fans expect from WALTARI. From the very beginning to the present, WALTARI remains true to diversity, creativity, and breaking boundaries. Nations' Neurosis is a loud musical manifesto against the growing global conflicts. The album calls for a return to unity, understanding, and artistic freedom. It is a challenge to rise from the ashes, to create instead of destroy, and to not turn a blind eye to those in need.
