Description

The largest wine event in Vrbovec's cellar street is an annual celebration marking the end of the harvest in the vineyards and an opportunity to revive old winemaking traditions. On the last Saturday of October, the end of the grape harvest is celebrated in the vineyard U Kapličky, in the cellar street, and in the open cellars. You can look forward to a parade of Vrbovec councilors in period costumes, the ceremonial pressing of the last grape accompanied by music, and ancient customs: Guaranteeing the Grape Goat, Storing the Grape Goat for winter in the cellar with the innkeeper, and Gift-giving to winemakers. And of course, there will also be fresh burčák, juice, young wine, singing, and cimbalom. https://www. cechvrbovec. cz https://www. facebook. com/cechvinaruvrbovec
