Since voXXclub first stirred up the folk pop scene with 'Rock Mi', the five vocal acrobats have been regulars in the charts, on TV shows, and on stage! 'Rock Mi' was the initial spark. In 2012, suddenly and unexpectedly, the walls in a Munich shopping center shook. Flashmob. The lightning not only triggered the band's first hit but also marked the start of a breathtaking career. With wit and charm, strong voices, and powerful stage performances thanks to the musical experience of the guys, voXXclub set completely new standards in folk music from that moment on. Boy band? Initially yes, but the five artists have long outgrown that label. They grew from young lads into men, a band, a unit, a circle of close friends without whose internal chemistry this dynamic would probably never have developed. The list of awards is long, and it is part of the music business to refer to these numbers, facts, likes, followers, gold and platinum awards. Let's instead turn to the actual rungs of the ladder of success: the hits. Reducing voXXclub's songs to Oktoberfest folk music would be too narrow. Yes, with 'Rock Mi', 'Donnawedda', and 'Anneliese', voXXclub are staples at Munich and all major festivals. But there's so much more, like 'Ziwui', a song whose title was inspired by bird chirping. The following year, voXXclub rocked Germany together with our national goalkeeper Nadine Angerer with the song 'So wie heut', performing on all major stages and, from the start of their career, on all major TV shows. The band is also a welcome guest on television. The combination of singing, choreography, arrangement, and a sound that pleasantly diverges from typical scene standards delights both editors and viewers. Over 250 TV appearances are to be noted, and regarding concerts, the same applies to their live and stage presence. Their tours now take the five voXXclub members across the globe, from China to Brazil. With 'Auf der Vogelwiese', they released another of their big hits. In 2018, they participated in the German pre-selection for Eurovision with 'I mog di so'.
