For over 10 years, the HEAVEN CAN WAIT choir from Hamburg has been capturing the hearts of audiences. Since the successful cinema film about the choir, the show has been making waves across Germany with sold-out venues. And because you're never too old to try something new, even with over 70, the lively seniors are now launching a new program: "Now More Than Ever!" The success story of the HEAVEN CAN WAIT choir continues! About 35 singers aged between 70 and 93 sing the songs of the younger generation, charmingly challenging common stereotypes about seniors in retirement. Their repertoire again includes – not at all "age-appropriate" – current hits that everyone knows. However, in their interpretation, the songs take on a different effect, as from the perspective of these experienced individuals, they gain a depth that is surprising. New and special about the "Now More Than Ever!" program is that the choir is also presenting original compositions and lyrics for the first time. Touching songs that deal with topics rarely mentioned in the young pop world: What is the meaning of life? What does happiness mean? How do I approach the topic of death? Big themes, delivered with heart and a good dose of humor in true HCW style, radiating wisdom without preaching. These songs are also available on CD for the first time. And so, the (G)Oldies rock the stage again with the new program: colorful, young, and cheeky, singing, rapping, dancing, and grooving. With "Now More Than Ever!" this oldest, yet youngest and definitely most colorful choir of Hamburg adds a new facet. And for those who want a behind-the-scenes look: the successful and award-winning film "Heaven can wait – we are living now" is available everywhere as DVD and stream.
