Description
or "All pain is better than nothing" After the two-person play "Heisenberg – The Uncertainty Principle" The 42-year-old American Georgie Burns, impulsive and cheerful, accidentally meets the reserved, older butcher Alex Stierli from Schlieren at the Altstetten train station. Their initial quarrel leads to an unusual, challenging relationship. Georgie's unpredictable nature and her contradictory stories cause Alex to question his habits and his loneliness. Georgie struggles with her past and her relationship with her son. Between closeness and distance, truth and lie, a fragile story about change and the possibility of taking new paths late in life develops. During their relationship, both grow closer and learn to overcome their fears. Alex opens up again to closeness. Love and trust often only develop when one has the courage to accept uncertainty. The original play set in London has been adapted to Zurich to give the audience immediate access.
