While there are no interactive elements, the many pieces of information and the special atmosphere make the visit an educational experience.
For younger children, the exhibition might be less exciting – we therefore recommend the visit primarily for schoolchildren and older. The tour is conducted in German. Meeting point
Cheese Cave Gstaad, Bissenstrasse 83, there are no parking spaces available on site. Please use the parking lot at the valley station Wasserngrat and walk back to the sign "Käsegrotte" (500 meters). Arrival Information
Individual arrival at the Käsegrotte Gstaad. From the Gstaad train station, you can reach the Käsegrotte on foot in about 45 minutes. As there are only a few parking spaces available on site, we recommend a stress-free arrival by Postbus Line 182. Transportation is free with the Gstaad Card. Departure: Gstaad train station at 2:37 p. m. to Turbach
Arrival: Stop Bissenegg at 2:45 p. m. – from there it is only a short walk to the Käsegrotte. After the visit, a pleasant walk back to the village leads through the beautiful landscape of the Saanenland. Walking time: about 30 - 45 minutes. The bus back to the train station only departs at 5:13 p. m.
