Viktor Ori “A BETTER WORLD IS POSSIBLE, BUT NO ONE NEEDS IT” is a well-known name in the Slovak alternative music scene and part of one of the significant waves currently shaping the Czechoslovak scene. For over ten years, he was the singer and guitarist of the band Shallov, which gradually evolved into this hybrid solo project, although the debut album features numerous guest musicians. Currently, the concert lineup is a duo, along with drummer Antonín Kropáček, but guests often appear at the concert. Viktor Ori's sound encompasses punk, shoegaze, screamo, trip-hop, industrial, metal, and pop - all these influences are tied together with a unique signature and sound. Viktor's lyrics stem from a humanistic position in the context of postmodern dystopia - they are personal, existential, raw, but also political, provocative, and universal. Scheissburg Scheissburg is a torn-up street that has turned into a war zone. Scheissburg is a storm where cars get stuck in streams of water and move at a crawl. Scheissburg is inhaling particles of dust. Scheissburg is stones ripped from the city's pavement for nothing.
