Already in 1995, the renowned theater, television, and film actor Ulrich Tukur ("John Rabe", "The Lives of Others", "Tatort") founded his dance band. What chaos, what a fantastic mess it was when the Rhythmus Boys first took the concert stage and unleashed a storm of enthusiasm and total confusion! None of the four mastered their instrument, but wit, cultivated indiscipline, and excellent appearance compensated for all musical deficits.
This has changed over the years. Meanwhile, the gentlemen sing and play far better than they look; indiscipline has turned into madness and cheerful disorder, and so an evening with the Rhythmus Boys resembles the last tumultuous concert in a dilapidated variety theater slated for demolition.
