Description

This production interprets the famous 5th-century poem Meghaduta by Kalidasa through expressive Kathak dance and live music, including Tabla, singing, Harmonium, and Santoor. The story follows a celestial Yaksha exiled for a year, entrusting a passing cloud with a message of love for his distant wife in Alaka. The performance vividly embodies themes of devotion, separation, hope, and redemption, blending traditional literature, dance, and music to create a powerful cultural experience.
