Description

For the first time, the exhibition has a theme: WHAT REMAINS. What remains in a constantly changing world? To what extent is nature, subject to permanent changes, stable and resilient? Who stays and who returns? What traces do we leave behind? And finally: what remains of 19 years of art in the Binn valley, in the landscape and in collective memory? Eight artists and three artistic collectives, who have already exhibited in the Twingi gorge in recent years, return to the Binn valley and present their artistic perspectives on the theme of the exhibition. Artists: Anna-Katharina Scheidegger, Anna Schmid, Anne-Chantal Pitteloud, Benita Millius Lusti, Carla Hohmeister & Beate Frommelt, Carlo Schmidt, Hammer Band, Maëlle Cornut, Nicolas Fournier, Stefanie Salzmann, We didn't do it! Crew. The exhibition can be visited during an easy hike of about one hour between the postal bus stops Steinmatten and Ze Binne hamlet (Langthal stop). It is possible to dine in Ze Binne hamlet and in the village of Binn. The exhibition is free and open to all. The exhibition guide is available at the tourist offices of Ernen and Binn, as well as at the two starting points of the exhibition.

General Information

The TWINGI 26 exhibition takes place in the Twingi gorge and explores the traces left by art in a changing world. Visitors can discover works by artists who have already exhibited in the Binn valley, while enjoying a one-hour hike between Steinmatten and Ze Binne.
