Description
Moderation: Michael Schleicher Charlotte Knobloch was twelve years old when the war ended; her father Fritz Neuland was one of the co-founders of the Israelite Religious Community of Munich and Upper Bavaria in 1945. His attitude became her legacy: "Keep going anyway, always forward, never give up – that was his superpower." In her book "Trotzdem weiter. An Jewish-German conclusion" (C. H. Beck), Knobloch reflects on her life and her work as President of the Israelite Religious Community of Munich and Upper Bavaria. Personal memory becomes a political intervention: Faced with growing, overt anti-Semitism, she advocates for love, hope, and trust – and for the decision not to waver. ENTRY: EURO 16.- / 10.-
