Airports are hubs where the contradictions of a globalized world, in which goods circulate freely while human beings are stopped at the borders, especially arise. "Transport: Connecting Flights" follows a family who has been forced to flee their homeland through the terminal: a place of hope and hopelessness where prejudices and institutional obstacles are painfully experienced. Puppentheater Białystok demands responsibility against the backdrop of European migration policy and reminds us that our actions, or our silence, shape the world. "Transport" is a six-part theater series that has been celebrated across Europe that concerns itself with the effects of mobility in a globalized world. All productions use individually created scenographies consisting of realistically designed spaces, buildings, streets, and public infrastructure that are inhabited by 3D printed characters. An immersive experience for the audience is created with a performance style oriented around animated films and a 3D soundscape.
