TOPAS is one of the most successful German magicians internationally. He has been crowned twice as the world champion of illusions and won the Golden Magic Wand of Monaco. For 30 years, he has been a star and a member of the Top Ten Club of the best magicians in the world. The audience has come to know TOPAS as a perfect illusionist who makes entire buses disappear. However, in his homeland, he also performs under his real name THOMAS FRÖSCHLE as a wordy variety artist, especially on television, where he increases his presence as a comedian. Instead of black magic, he relies on highly intellectual black humor. Witty, quick-witted, and unafraid of a punchline, DER FRÖSCHLE also has his audience firmly in his grip as a comedian. He won the largest German comedy and cabaret competition, the 8th Hamburg Comedy Cup. Whether magician or comedian - experts and audiences agree that the cosmopolitan is also a first-class entertainer in craftsmanship. Like all great magicians, TOPAS is a perfectionist who takes his work very seriously, of course. But the playful ease with which he presents himself has nothing to do with dark arts mysticism or the shimmering abracadabra masked with high-tech, which is well known from some magicians.
