The theatrical adaptation of a beloved Czech film comedy, where the story of two married couples comes to life again, deciding to settle scores in an original and often unexpectedly humorous way... The Bartáček and Novák couples live in neighboring apartments of a tenement house and know more about each other than they would like: Mrs. Bartáčková enjoys packages from her mother at the agricultural cooperative, but despite this stroke of fate, she is pathologically jealous. Mr. Novák, a film extra, has eyes only for his car, and perhaps that’s why he doesn’t mind that Mrs. Novák’s festive wig doesn’t quite fit and that they have no water in their apartment. However, neither couple has any idea what the other is capable of. Will a warning from the district office, the construction of the metro, subsequent moving, or perhaps a wedding resolve the conflict?
