Ronja Räubertochter! Oh dear, more than 40 years old! Why this particular play? Isn't there anything new? Of course, there are many wonderful new children's theater plays and ideas. Yet, few manage to stay so compellingly current. Especially now, in a time when adults have 'decided' to reintroduce conflict and hostility after a period of peace, the story of two feuding families is especially significant. What is just a story, and what deeply touches the thoughts and feelings of people? We aim to explore this in our work with many participants from school classes, theater groups from Tempus fugit, the children's and youth choir, music, dance, and theater creators, to rediscover it together with the audience in the Burghof. Why does Ronja not obediently follow the rules that separate her Mattis family from the rival Borka family? What does she oppose this hostility with? It's not the drive to rebel against her own parents! On the contrary, she loves her family dearly. Her goal is to preserve and maintain a newly found friendship. Her imagination, carefree spirit, and the strength that friendship gives her help her. We look forward to sparks flying even after more than 40 years, igniting everyone involved and witnessing it.
