The Urban Country Club – Concert at the Basel West Library

Description

Concert: The Urban Country Club plays country, bluegrass, and folk on acoustic instruments, packaged into a relaxed live show – that's The Urban Country Club. They perform cheerful songs about unfulfilled love, bad luck, and zest for life by Gillian Welch or The Secret Sisters, Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, and of course Dolly Parton. It is the ideal band for dancing or reminiscing and celebrating the lightness of life. Sabine Schädler (voc), Felix Hohl (voc, guit), Basil Erny (bass), Michel Chalon (guit, banjo), and Thomas Brunner (drums) play sympathetically and humorously, as if the Americana sound was directly handed down to them!
