Student Adam gradually transforms into a better person under the influence of the charismatic Evelyn. In society, fitting in and presenting oneself well is important, so Adam works on eliminating his bad habits and imperfections. He stops biting his nails, discards an old coat he once considered a mark of his individuality, but which made him look like a lumberjack. He loses weight and builds muscle. Objectively, he becomes a more attractive man. What is the price of this transformation? A gripping psychological study of power and betrayal in relationships that poses challenging questions about the nature of interpersonal bonds.
