Klaus and Erika Mann founded a theater to prove that they are not just the children of their famous father, but that they also have something to say about the world they live in. The true truth. However, the Nazis are coming to power in Germany, and even the best friends of these famous siblings are dealing with the rising 'brown plague' very pragmatically, and above all, in their own way. Is there still anything to say? And is there anyone to say it to? Can life still be meaningful? Or just sensual? Because it must be something. The situation is further complicated by the fact that Death (who for some reason prefers to be called Professor) and Mephisto, who has fallen in love and doesn't know how to get out of it, have settled in the audience. Directed by Ivan Krejčí, we are in for a bitterly entertaining truth (unfortunately timeless) about who we all are and how disgustingly we can lie to ourselves.
