Who hasn't been enchanted by "The Nutcracker"? By a melody, a dance, a childhood image that suddenly reappears. From this simple longing, this concert was born: to tell the story once again – differently, anew – and to share it together, with young and old. The music of Tchaikovsky is at the center of the project. It explains nothing, it suggests. It creates a living room on a Christmas evening, a somewhat strange toy, an improbable battle, a world that tips from the real into the dreamlike.
A narrator accompanies this journey, just as one tells a story by the fireplace: to provide orientation, to connect the scenes, and also to leave space for silence – so that the imagination can breathe.
This concert is neither intended as a "children's spectacle" nor as a traditional classical concert. It is a shared space: for listening, for being carried away. The younger ones follow the story, the adults rediscover the music – and everyone finds their place. An hour to slow down, to dream a little, and to remember that music, and a narrated story sometimes suffice to create a precious moment.
