Since 2006, BergBuchBrig has brought together people interested in the mountains, their stories, and their future.
For its 20th anniversary, the festival focuses more on the questions affecting the Alpine region: climate change, biodiversity, resources, tourism, usage conflicts, and social change.
Literature, music, film, and art meet science and social dialogue. Through readings, discussions, concerts, films, excursions, and new mediation formats, encounters arise between different perspectives. BergBuchBrig understands the mountain as a living space, cultural landscape, and space for the future – inviting everyone to reconsider, understand, and rethink it together.
