Description

Drawing Storehouse – a Capriccio (Installation for children by Tamara Hauser as part of the Early Bird Festival

June 8-13 accessible between 9:00 and 18:00 The Drawing Storehouse is a walk-in installation made of colors, shapes, and traces. Drawings and objects are created on the floor and in the space, which can be rearranged repeatedly.
Children and accompanying persons are invited to discover this space playfully. The shapes and traces created are occasionally musically picked up by musicians from the Oberwallis Music School and translated into sounds. This creates a lively dialogue between movement, images, and music.
A simple game concept provides orientation for the musicians while allowing plenty of room for imagination and spontaneous ideas. Each encounter with the installation can sound and look different.
The installation was developed by the artist Tamara Hauser. In her work, she creates spaces where people can experiment together and discover new forms of expression. In addition to her artistic activities, Tamara Hauser teaches in the design department at the Pedagogical Universities of Bern and Wallis.

The little and big guests will be welcomed at 14:00 in the bistro by our KinderKultur team. This will be followed by the respective performance (30-45 min). Afterwards, creative workshops for the children and their accompanying persons will take place. The bistro with a play area is open.
