Description

Paula Bilá carries the South in her voice. Deeply rooted in the Flamenco of her Andalusian homeland, every phrase she sings radiates the warmth of the Mediterranean, the shimmer of dusty plazas, and the untamed power of centuries-old tradition. In recent years, she has broadened her horizons and turned to the great Latin American song treasures of the 20th century: Boleros full of longing, melodies between bittersweet melancholy and exuberant zest for life, stories of love, loss, and hope – timeless yet burning with relevance. She is accompanied by the quartet of guitarist Linus Eppinger – The LEANING IN Underground. With stylistic elegance, subtle irony, and palpable joy of playing, the band has long made a name for itself beyond the jazz scene. Together, they open a warm, breathing sound space where Flamenco fire meets Latin Jazz, where tradition and modernity flow effortlessly into each other – open, lively, improvisational. The result is an intimate yet powerful blend of Bolero, Latin Jazz, and improvisational freedom: passionate, atmospheric music that touches, transports – and invites both dreaming and dancing. In March 2026, their second joint album will be released
"La Vuelta En Español Vol.2" – a musical declaration of love for the diversity and emotional depth of popular Latin American music of the 20th century. Personal, intense, and full of soul. Cast: Paula Bilá – Vocals The LEANING IN Underground
Linus Eppinger – Guitar
Nicolai Daneck – Piano
Ties Laarakker – Bass
Peter Primus Frosch – Drums
