Morricone vs. Mancini – Two film music legends in a musical duel After two sold-out and celebrated concert evenings at TiK, The Cinephoniks return to the stage – and once again invite you to a cinematic live experience of a special kind. Under the motto "Morricone vs. Mancini," on Saturday, October 11, 2025, and Sunday, November 16, 2025, two of the greatest composers in film history take center stage: Ennio Morricone, the master of epic soundscapes, and Henry Mancini, the creator of timeless melodies with jazzy elegance. In two varied sets, The Cinephoniks present their own fresh arrangements of their most famous works. Between musical highlights, there are exciting anecdotes, biographical insights, and interesting facts about the creation of their most famous works – from "Spiel mir das Lied vom Tod" to "Der rosarote Panther," from "Cinema Paradiso" to "Moon River." The ensemble is supported by special guest Elisa Herbig, who adds special tonal accents with cello and vocals.
