Description
On a surreal office-like stage, two angels encounter human rage. Through movement and voice, they challenge the idea that women and femme people should hide their anger. Along the way, surprising encounters emerge with the stage, the audience and each other. Watching anger angels (ETERNAL LETDOWN) feels a bit like a massage you did not know you needed: unsettling and comforting at the same time. With humour and irony, Rodríguez and Vittucci transform anger into something unexpected. They float, sing in invented languages and turn everyday office objects into unlikely instruments. Have you ever heard a keyboard and a hole punch make music together? The performance reclaims anger, especially the anger of women and femme people, from the idea that it is irrational or dangerous. It invites us to stay with what burns beneath the surface and to discover its power to heal and transform.
