Description
FELT RELATIONS explores the complex web of relationships between nature and humanity: starting from the sheep, the piece connects the Levant and Switzerland.Inspired by the research process in the mountains and the processing of wool, the piece invites the audience to perceive infinity, rawness, and tenderness. Felting, an ancient, repetitive, and cross-cultural gesture, is choreographically examined as a primal metaphor, becoming visually and physically tangible. On stage, a resonance field is created between the wool and the human body, two relationship-based, soft, and resilient fabrics that breathe and navigate the inner and outer space. FELT RELATIONS will be presented as part of the TPO Tour 2026 by TanzPlan Ost, which has been promoting contemporary dance creation in Eastern Switzerland for 16 years. On the same evening, we will also present Collective Rhythms of Pain – with one ticket, both performances can be seen.
