Dance and movement workshop with Milena Crameri and Federico Zeno Bassanese, who are doing a dance residency in Poschiavo. Biographies:
Federico Zeno Bassanese completed his training at the Vienna State Opera Ballet School and has been working as a dancer for the past 13 years with various European companies (including Salzburg Ballet, Balletto di Siena, Wroclaw Ballet, Ballett Theater Magdeburg). Since 2023, he has been responsible for organizational tasks at Ballet Theatre Magdeburg, working closely with ballet director Jörg Mannes and continuing his career as a dancer in the company.
As a choreographer, he works for major institutions such as the Semperoper Dresden, Wroclaw Ballet, Teatro Stabile Il Rossetti, Kunstmuseum Kloster Unser Lieben Frauen, Theater Magdeburg, Polish Dance Theatre, and for an upcoming production at the Tyrolean Landestheater Innsbruck; he emphasizes a collaborative approach with dancers and joint development of the choreographic process.
Milena Crameri was born in Poschiavo, where she began her dance education at the Scuola di Musica Poschiavina. At the age of ten, she decided to pursue a professional training: she first attended the Accademia Ucraina di Balletto in Milan and later the Zurich Dance Academy (TaZ), where she earned her federal diploma as a classical dancer. In 2028, she joined the Baltic Opera Ballet in Gdansk; she has participated in numerous productions there, dancing both in the corps de ballet and as a soloist. She also develops choreographic projects and conducts workshops in various countries. She regularly performs in Poschiavo, where she also organizes dance classes. She has received multiple awards, including the Danse Suisse prize for the best final exam (2017), the Graubünden Culture Prize (2022), and the Audience Award at the SoloCoreografico Festival in Turin (2024). In April 2026, she presented her latest choreographic work, a full-length piece created for the Baltic Opera Ballet.
