Moni Wespi is an international choreographer, visual artist, and designer based in Almens GR. In her choreographic practice, she creates images through radical scenographic decisions, combined with her movement research around micro-movement. In 2007, Wespi founded the company LOUTOP in Zurich, with which she created a completely new and innovative stage project, touring nationally and across Europe from 2007 to 2014 (250 performances). In 2010, Moni Wespi was awarded the "GRANT" prize by the city of Zurich for her work with Loutop. Since 2022, Wespi has been part of IN SITU (European Network for Art in Public Space) and develops SLOWED LANDSCAPES performance installations that invite the audience to slow down and reintegrate into the environment. Moni Wespi tours with her projects and creates co-productions in Switzerland and Europe.
