ROCK RADIO HITS THAT GO UNDER THE SKIN Since the release of their debut album in 2006, the alternative rockers Takida have been on the fast track. With their mainstream-friendly rock radio fare, the band initially won over their home country and eventually all of Scandinavia. At the latest since the release of the 2024 album "The Agony Flame," the multi-platinum musicians have been convincing rock fans across Europe with their catchy numbers. They top radio airplay charts, perform in ever larger venues, and bring their unmistakable sound to a continuously growing fan base. The Swedish multi-platinum band Takida is successively climbing higher. In 2023, the band played their biggest tour to date, selling out arenas in their homeland and performing on major festival stages across Europe, including one of the main stages at Wacken Open Air. Their "Smoke & Mirrors" tour in April 2024 continued the success story with sold-out shows in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. With the latest album "The Agony Flame," their popularity was further increased. The band also appeared in the Swiss charts for the first time with this album. The long player once again embodies the unmistakable Takida sound with its infectious, hymn-like refrains. Lead singer Robert Pettersson is in top form.
