The project, initiated by Gotthard founding member Leo Leoni, has been captivating audiences for years with an exciting mix of timeless hard rock anthems and fresh material. As co-headliners, they bring the 90s heroes Tyketto with their brand new album to Pratteln. CORELEONI: When Leo Leoni founded CoreLeoni in 2017, he wanted to breathe new life into the songs from the early Gotthard years. What initially started as a tribute to the early days of one of Switzerland's most successful rock bands quickly developed into an independent band with international renown. Alongside newly interpreted classics, original compositions soon found their place in the repertoire. With their previous studio albums, CoreLeoni has established itself as a mainstay in melodic hard rock, thrilling audiences with powerful guitars, great melodies, and top-notch songwriting. Since 2022, the exceptional Albanian singer Eugent Bushpepa has been at the microphone, giving the songs a unique touch with his powerful voice. Together with Leo Leoni, guitarist Jgor Gianola, bassist Mila Merker, and drummer Alex Motta, they form a well-rehearsed formation that impresses on stage with joy, virtuosity, and passion. The current album "Generation Rock" seamlessly connects to previous releases, blending classic hard rock with contemporary energy. Live, fans can look forward to a cross-section of the band's work so far – featuring legendary songs from the early Gotthard era as well as the strongest original compositions from CoreLeoni. TYKETTO: In the early 90s, they were one of the most promising bands in melodic hard rock. With the albums "Don’t Come Easy" (1991) and "Strength in Numbers" (1994), the group led by exceptional singer Danny Vaughn was on the path to the top of the scene. However, the rise of grunge dealt a death blow to 80s hard rock and prevented the band from achieving great success. Frustrated and disillusioned, Tyketto disbanded after the release of their third studio album "Shine" in 1996. To the delight of fans, a new studio album "Dig In Deep" was finally released in 2012. Since then, the band has been back on stage. In 2016, they released another strong album, "Reach," which showed that Vaughn is still a brilliant songwriter. After a long dry spell, another Tyketto work, "Closer To The Sun," will finally be released in spring 2026. Alongside Vaughn, Harry Scott Elliott on guitar, Ged Rylands on keyboards, Chris Childs (Thunder) on bass, and Johnny Dee (Doro) on drums contribute significantly. On "Closer To The Sun," Tyketto speaks about real life, love, loss, and pleasure. From the anthemic tribute to the power of love in the title track to the powerful rawness of "Hit Me Where It Hurts" and the power ballad "The Picture," Tyketto continues to confidently navigate the melodic rock terrain that made them great. With "Closer To The Sun," Tyketto reaffirms their place among the most respected and enduring names in the scene. On the upcoming tour, Vaughn and his band will combine the greatest gems from their 90s repertoire with highlights from their current albums.
