In three chapters, aligned with the moon phases, HER WAVE follows Germany's big-wave surfer Lena Kemna through her second season in Nazaré. Instead of a traditional hero's journey, the film realistically, grimly, artistically, and visually powerfully depicts a winter marked by extreme highs and lows. GUTS - A FEMALE EXPEDITION THROUGH AFRICA
Patrizia and Marie realized their dream: a 20,000-kilometer off-road surf safari from Biarritz to Guinea-Bissau – equipped with nothing but an old Jeep, four surfboards, and a mission: to capture the stories of inspiring women redefining their place in society across Northwest Africa.
