All characters invented by psychiatrist Dr. Heinrich Hoffmann in 1845 for his children as funny stories with amusing pictures. Because: Those who don't want to listen must feel! Accompanied by surreal visual and musical worlds, rebellion against authorities and blind obedience is stirred. A little horror show between slapstick and grotesque.
