Description
The body—a precious asset—over which every person has the right to make their own decisions. What do we like about our bodies, and what would we like to change? What social values and norms shape our body image today? How has this changed over time? Sometimes there are moments when we find it difficult to present our bodies the way we’d like to. What helps us then? What significance do scars hold in my life? On the topic of “My Body—My Scars,” we’ll share and listen to stories, experiences, or anecdotes from our personal lives. As we listen and empathize, we find common ground. It’s a storytelling circle in a stimulating, intimate atmosphere—a space where personal memories can be shared on a specific topic. Memories are contagious and allow us to perceive the present in a new light. The storytelling circle is moderated by Claudia Sollberger. For more information on the method, see: www. erzaehl-cafe. com. I look forward to seeing you and hearing your stories. You’re also welcome to just listen. Everyone is cordially invited to this accompanying event for the exhibition “Trotzdem Frau”; registration is requested for planning purposes.
