STOPPOK - RUND Tour – the band tour 2026

Description

Main thing RUND: STOPPOK has a birthday and celebrates on the stages
of the Landes Reisen bildet. This "RUND-Tour" even more so. STOPPOK, the witty seismograph of our country, will have a round birthday in 2026, turning 70. That's too beautiful not to be celebrated. On a "RUND-Tour" through the republic, on the live stages of the country. always STOPPOK's natural habitat and emotion territory. So, into the jubilation tours with edges and corners, with heart and mind, with a new album and old friends. The text-singing-guitar icon is obviously in the best birthday mood.
For 50 years, STOPPOK has been a model example of an entire guild, as a unique entertainer from the fresh department of vital songwriting, as an independent spirit on "solid ground," who decided early on between "money or life," as an outstanding lyricist full of wit, wisdom, and pointed poetry. The weather prophet of value change shines as a unique piece. There is no talk of diminishing strength and ideas. An indication: the last two albums, "Jubel" and "Teufelsküche," landed in the top five of the Media Control Charts.
STOPPOK is a singer and musician, highly valued by renowned colleagues, who combines loose mouthwork with stupendous craftsmanship (he masters his string instruments with a highly personal touch). Fed from folk, blues, and rock’n’roll, the STOPPOK sound develops energy and independence. This idea is carried by his well-rehearsed band: Reggie Worthy on bass, Leo Lazar on drums, as well as Sebel on keyboards and guitar, are consequently companions on the "RUND-Tour" (October 21, 2026, to November 15). Matching a new song from the album released for the tour: "The longer we go together, the better we understand each other".
STOPPOK keeps going, persistent, joyful, playful. Surprising us with special live evenings where spontaneity, mockery, and soul massage triumph. Nothing settles for seventy. How lucky! Photo: Martin Huch
