For 50 years, STOPPOK has been a flagship model of an entire guild, as a unique entertainer from the fresh department of vital songwriter art, as an independent spirit on "solid ground," who decided early on between "money or life," as an outstanding lyricist full of wit, wisdom, and pointed poetry. The weather prophet of value change shines as a unique piece. There is no talk of diminishing strength and ideas. An indication: the last two albums, "Jubel" and "Teufelsküche," landed in the top five of the Media Control Charts.
STOPPOK is a singer and musician, highly valued by renowned colleagues, who combines loose mouthwork with stupendous craftsmanship (he masters his stringed instruments with a highly personal touch). Fed from folk, blues, and rock’n’roll, the STOPPOK sound develops energy and eccentricity. This idea is carried by his well-rehearsed band: Reggie Worthy on bass, Leo Lazar on drums, as well as Sebel on keyboards and guitar, are consequently passengers on the "RUND" (October 21, 2026, to November 15).
