Description

Various perspectives on adoption – research, experience, moderation. After a tour of the exhibition, Surangika Jayarathne reports on her research in Sri Lanka. She also talks about her encounters with birth mothers who have given up their children for adoption. Afterwards, social anthropologist Andrea Abraham, head of the Institute of Childhood, Youth, and Family at BFH Bern, discusses with two adopted individuals from Lebanon and South Korea about their very personal experiences and insights on this topic.
