The interactive exhibition questions common Stone Age clichés and focuses on women, children, as well as elderly or people in need of support based on current research. Four Neanderthal women guide visitors through their life worlds along narrative audio tracks and invite them to rediscover everyday life from tens of thousands of years ago. How diverse were Neanderthal societies? And what do widespread Stone Age stereotypes reveal about our own ideas?
