Spoken Word Festival woerdz 2026: Die Predigt

Description

Since 2020, Die Predigt has been inviting preachers from science, politics, and culture to the Lucerne Peters Chapel every month and providing them with a stage. Die Predigt is a humanistic intervention in a time when sharp thinking, enlightenment, and hope are irreplaceable – reviving a supposedly dead genre of spoken word art. The sermons are combined with contemporary music by outstanding soloists. For the October 2026 sermon, woerdz and Die Predigt are collaborating and inviting spoken word author and actor Jens Nielsen to the pulpit of the Peters Chapel. Afterwards, organizers, performers, and the audience will exchange ideas during brunch or aperitif at Kulturhof Hinter Musegg. With Jens Nielsen and Christian Berger
