Special exhibition "Wild. Forest. We - Experience wild animals and hunting"

Description

The exhibition invites visitors to discover the local wildlife and the tasks of hunting. Which animals live in our forests? How are their habitats looked after? And what role does hunting play in this? The new special exhibition is dedicated to these questions and at the same time offers a lively insight into the diverse activities of hunters throughout the year. Visitors can explore the wild animals of the Appenzellerland at various stations: Recognize animal sounds, feel hides and antlers in touch boxes, match tracks and discover around 40 impressive animal exhibits. Complementary films provide authentic insights into the work of hunters, from conservation and care work to fawn rescue and a day out hunting.
