Description

Every Sunday at 1.30 pm we show you everything about the Silvesterchläuse, Bloch, Alpfahrt, cattle show, alpine life, traditional costumes and much more in our permanent exhibition. Try your hand at Chlausen with rollers, Schellenschötten, Talerschwingen or try your hand at the dulcimer, bass violin, Schwyzerörgeli and other instruments.

This offer is for individual guests, not for groups.

The Appenzeller Brauchtumsmuseum in Urnäsch offers a free guided tour every Sunday at 1:30 pm. Visitors can learn about local customs such as Silvesterchläuse, cattle shows, and traditional costumes, with opportunities to try traditional instruments.
