The wolf, lynx and bear have returned to the Alps and regularly migrate through the Swiss National Park. As a natural part of our ecosystems, these large predators are of central importance. As they are also increasingly shaping our cultural landscape, their presence leads to different perspectives and raises questions.

On this full-day excursion in the Buffalora area, we will explore the multifaceted topic of large carnivores. We will learn fascinating facts about the lifestyle, behavior and ecology of wolves, bears and lynx. We also look at their importance from different perspectives: from the point of view of forestry, agriculture, hunting, nature conservation and the national park. What challenges arise in everyday life? What experiences have been made in practice - including in the area surrounding the national park? Together we will discuss the background, current developments and possible ways of dealing with the large carnivores.

Meeting point: 8.40 am at the Buffalora P10 parking lot (Postbus stop on the Ofen Pass line). The arrival of your post bus from Val Müstair at 8:49 will be awaited if you make a note of this when you register.
