Description

A turbulent journey into the icy realm of decision-making with threatening ice cream cones, delicate chaos, quirky regulars, and lots of raspberry. The line gets longer, the ice cream seller more impatient, and Mr. Moritz more nervous. Vanilla, chocolate, or raspberry? Mango? Pistachio? Yogurt-cinnamon? Cone or cup? And maybe whipped cream? Sauce? Crunch? Sprinkles? Spoon? Napkin? "Sonst Schoko" takes you on an everyday adventure with little pomp and show in the portable ice cream parlor. Observantly telling a story about the impossibility of making a choice, about unintended rebellion, and the courage to follow one's own logic. The imaginative belly theater won 1st prize at the Children's and Youth Theater Festival KUSS in Marburg 2024 and 1st prize at the SPIELSTARK Festival 2025 in Ottweiler.
