Everyone dances alone – contemporary dance reduced to its most basic form The program holds surprises for the audience and discoveries for the scene of tomorrow. The artistic palette ranges from dance theater to abstract choreography. The festival offers a rare overview of the current state of the global dance scene. Each dancer brings their own personality, and the themes and trends addressed are incredibly diverse. "The festival's good reputation has long been known worldwide (...), with over 350 applications, it is very difficult to decide which 18 will ultimately participate in the competition," says the artistic director and founder, Marcelo Santos.
