Sloth Sloth is a band from the dark underworld of Brno, consisting of Kryštof Pochylý (PissedChris), Alex Al Zouri (GxUxTxS, Hadí Mord), Tom Svoboda (ex-Señor Sanchez), and Marek Heczko (Janet A, Finding Blue Desert). After government restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic were lifted in 2022, Sloth began to catch up on their concert backlog and quickly gained recognition in the Czech stoner/doom scene. Tons of grass and liters of beer helped them create their typically hypnotic riffs. This proper preparation culminated in the EP Sloth – Sloth. In 2026, Sloth released their debut album Slothmachine under Kabinet Records. Slať Deep swamps of sludge/stoner riffs, heavy tempo, and black metal darkness. The band, which has garnered much-deserved attention since the release of their first demo, made their mark in 2021 as a successor to Nikander. They followed up their demo with the long-awaited debut LP Elegie Propastná, which was released in 2024 under Doomentia Records. In Alterna, Slať will present new material in a new lineup. There is much to look forward to.
