In times when we again have to discuss women's rights and freedom of speech, the wind from the right blows sharper worldwide, and even in Western cultures, a very conservative image of women is being propagated anew, the comedians are taking the offensive!
An evening full of humorous diversity is offered, far from jokes about frustration shopping and connective tissue - no women's quota gala, no male bashing, just a magnificent show by women for everyone!
Sisters of Comedy takes place once a year on many different stages simultaneously, and each show donates part of the entrance fees to local women's aid projects and sends a clear message against sexism and for equality. The donation goes to: Frig (Freiburg specialist service intervention against domestic violence). Participants include:
**Laura Braun**, the eloquent Freiburg native dares to delve into the darkest moments of her own life story with an unmistakable voice and pointed piano playing. An evening with Laura Braun is an emotional rollercoaster that stirs up, reconciles, and resonates for many days.
**Lisa Christ** from Zurich is feminist, pointed, and brutally honest. The cabaret artist, satirist, and author quickly and sharply dissects the ideals of our time and charmingly brings current and political everyday topics to the point.
**Karo Bender** offers insights into the dark corners of society and prefers to serve unpleasant truths cold. She has come to destroy worldviews and show the world as it really is: dirty, merciless, and hilariously funny. https://laurabraunmusic.de/
